When filmmaker John Warren set out to work on a project with composer Alicia Enstrom, the two could not possibly known how relevant the idea of the suspension of life itself might be. This Buddhist concept, called Bardo, is the subject of a set of five meditative pieces that they have collaborated on.

The duo was planning to premiere the first piece in the set, Bardo Landscape, at Nashville’s Far Out Film Festival, which was cancelled in the worldwide wave of COVID-19 shutdowns. We’re pleased at 91Classical to offer you a first look at this film.

The next piece of the set, Bardo Tide, is set to release on May 29, as well as the full album via Tone Tree Music, on June 26, 2020.
