Listen / Jorge Glem is visiting Nashville from his home in Venezuela, by way of the Bronx in New York. He is a virtuoso player of a traditional Venezuelan instrument called the cuatro.
Live in Studio C: Tachoir Duo
Listen / Performing on vibraphone and piano, the Tachoir Duo brings an eclectic mix of styles — from jazz and blues, swing and latin, and some classical to Nashville’s musical community. Marlene Tachoir is a pianist and composer, and she wrote a suite of three pieces for piano along with Jerry Tachoir on vibraphone.
Live in Studio C: Oliver the Crow
Listen / Duo Oliver the Crow, including Cellist Kaitlyn Raitz and violinist Ben Plotnick, have brought music from their newly released self-titled album, which has been described by critics as simple, yet full, thriving and beautiful.

Listen / Cellist Nicholas Gold has a fond and deeply personal attachment to the cello suites of composer JS Bach. He has performed the pieces at Carnegie Hall, and now he brings them to live radio.
Live in Studio C: Alicia Enstrom
Listen / Violinist Alicia Enstrom brings brand new sounds that combine the instrument with her voice and varied electronics. Alicia is currently one of ten finalists in The Ear – a New York based competition for composers of new music. She is also the Artistic Director of Alias Chamber Ensemble.
Live in Studio C: Cheap Trills
Listen / Quasi-baroque ensemble Cheap Trills is a first for Studio C: an ensemble named by our listeners. Countertenor Patrick Dailey, lutenist Francis Perry, violinist Zeneba Bowers, and cellist Matt Walker brought us music from the baroque period and beyond.
Live in Studio C: Richard Todd
Listen / Guitarist Richard Todd brings us music from Brazil, Spain, Cuba and Brooklyn. Todd teaches guitar at Tennessee State University and the Blair School of Music at Vanderbilt University. He also curates the Middle Tennessee Guitar Alliance’s Virtuoso Series, with concerts at Blair.
Live in Studio C: Béla Fleck
Listen / Banjo virtuoso Béla Fleck has made the banjo feel equally at home with the orchestra and string quartet. His work in bluegrass, jazz, rock, world and classical music has left him nominated in more categories than any other instrumentalist in Grammy history. He brought a blend of new and old music to Studio C.
