
The Blair String Quartet has long deserved a reputation as one of Nashville’s finest performing ensembles, with roots stretching back more than four decades.
The current lineup of violinists Stephen Miahky and Cornelia Heard, violist John Kochanowski and cellist Felix Wang dropped by Studio C to preview their concert scheduled for 8pm Friday at Vanderbilt’s Blair School of Music. The program includes selections by Haydn and Schumann, as well as new music by Pierre Jalbert that evokes an icy, northern landscape.
