Votes for women! Or not? Nashville Public Television’s documentary on the suffrage movement in Tennessee, which debuts next month, portrays the disagreement over women’s right to vote as the contentious battle it was. Director Mary Makley visited Studio C to tell us about it, and soprano Hannah Sims performed the songs of the movement with pianist Kristian Klefstad.
