Rio de Janeiro street dance is illustrated as a meeting of hip-hop, samba, and capoeira in this Brazilian dance ensemble. The company was founded in Brazil by dancer Tiago Sousa and choreographer Sonia Destri Lie, and many of the company members grew up in favelas of Rio de Janeiro. Highlighting the abilities, identities, and testimonials of its company members.

Music by Telemann, CPE Bach, Couperin, and Vivaldi – showing a variety of musical regions that make up the geography of the Baroque period.

Try to remember when life was so tender … as this story about a boy and a girl, the manipulation of their fathers, lessons learned, and love hard-won is told. The musical, written in the 1950s, is based on the play Les Romanesques by Edmond Rostand. It was the world’s longest-running musical when it closed in 2002 after over 17,000 performances.
